This is how you could watch the Budapest sporting event of the year on the spot
Fans with a valid ticket or pass can attend Eb matches with a security certificate or a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours. This means that fans who are not vaccinated against the coronavirus can also take part in the event with a negative test. Documents certifying protection or a document certifying a negative PCR test result not older than 72 hours must be certified in Hungarian or English at the designated armband points (the EESC’s telephone application is also accepted). In the same place, the presentation of the identity document (identity card, passport) on the document certifying protection is mandatory. After presenting a valid ticket or pass, all fans will receive an armband to enter, allowing them to attend the event.
Armband receiving points in Pest county: Budaörs, Tesco car park (2040 Budaörs, Kinizsi utca 1–3.), Fót, Auchan car park (2151 Fót, Fehérkő út 1.), Groupama Arena, car park (1091 Budapest, Üllői út 129.)
There will be 24 national teams on the field for the 15th European Championship and 65 matches will take place in 18 days. The MVM Dome in Budapest, the Pick Arena in Szeged, the Phoenix Arena in Debrecen, the Steel Arena in Košice and the Ondrej Nepela Arena in Bratislava will host the group.
Due to the pandemic, fans can use only a quarter of the spectator capacity in the two halls in Slovakia, and there are no staff restrictions in Hungary. The home field is a sure advantage for the Rolands of Mikler, as the house is full in all three group matches, 20,000 spectators, but not in the sense that we would not be able to play any training matches in the new MVM Dome since its handover, ie in the middle of December. Today will be their first performance in the hall.
