Calabria, Puglia and Friuli-Venezia Giulia vote the delegates for the Quirinale: the three governors Occhiuto, Emiliano and Fedriga pass

In all cases it is the “classic” scheme which provides for the election of the governor, the president of the elective assembly and a representative of the opposition. With 17 Regions out of 21 that have already elected delegates, the overall picture sees 15 representatives of the Democratic Party, 11 of the League, 8 of Forza Italia, 5 of Fratelli d’Italia, 4 of the 5-star Movement and 6 scattered among other political forces

Three other regional councils voted i delegates who will participate in the election of the President of the Republic, scheduled for January 24th. In all cases it is the “classic” scheme which provides for the election of the governor, the president of the elective assembly and a representative of the opposition. In Puglia the nominees are the president of the junta Michele Emiliano (31 votes), the president of the regional council Loredana Capone (Pd, 30 votes) and the vice-president in opposition share Giannicola De Leonardis (FdI, 15 votes). For the Calabria the governor will go to Rome Roberto Occhiuto (Forza Italia, 20 votes), who as a former Italian team leader will return to the Chamber in a different capacity, the Prime Minister Filippo Mancuso (Lega, 19 votes) and the leader of the Democratic Party Nicola Irto (9 votes).

The Friuli Venezia Giulia he chose instead Massimiliano Fedriga, the Prime Minister Piero Mauro Zanin (Forza Italia) and the opposition councilor Sergio Bolzonello (Pd). In this case, Zanin (31) got more preferences, followed by Fedriga (29) and Bolzonello (16).
