Toulouse. Two Dutch for the Grand Matabiau project
Europolia, the developer on behalf of Toulouse Métropole for the Grand Matabiau project, quais d’Oc, has chosen, to carry out this vast urban project, the consortium made up in particular of the architectural and urban planning agency Güller Güller, three landscaping agencies and local correspondents for the urban project management. This consultation coincides with the entry into a more operational phase of the project, materialized by the requalification of avenue de Lyon, the transformation of the Sernam sector or even the first works linked to the Matabiau station interchange.
Following hearings, visits and analysis of the three tenders received, the Toulouse Métropole tender committee selected, on December 13, 2021, the multidisciplinary team whose representative is the firm Güller. Güller architecture town planning, which shares its headquarters between Rotterdam and Zürich. The architects notably designed the redevelopment of the Belvédère pole on the Garonne quays in Bordeaux. They will be associated with V2S Architects (Toulouse) on the project. The landscaping is entrusted to Phytolab (Nantes), Brut. Max (Edinburgh) and Atelier Gama (Toulouse), lighting design in ON (Paris), urban programming in Alphaville (Paris), engineering in Artelia (Toulouse), sustainable development in Altostep (Bordeaux), travel and mobility at Roland Ribi & Associés (Strasbourg), sociology and consultation at L’Usage des Lieux (Toulouse), transitory town planning and programming at BOC (Nantes) and the activation of public spaces at Bruit du Frigo ( Bordeaux).
