At the first suicide, police officers from Prague 9 intervened in a shopping center in Českomoravská Street. The security guard tried unsuccessfully to evict the man from the toilet, so he asked for help on the 156 emergency line.
“When the sent patrol leaned over the lying man, she found that he had a tight strip of white cloth around his neck. After the cut, the man took a clear breath, the police called the rescue service and checked her life functions until her arrival, “said Jiřina Ernestová, a spokeswoman for the city police.
However, during an acute treatment in an ambulance, the 44-year-old man admitted that two beers drank more medication. “A transfer to the hospital followed,” the spokeswoman added.

In the second case, the patrol went to the restaurant of the shopping center in Bohnice to the men who had to threaten suicide with a razor in hand. On the spot, the guards saw a man sitting at a table, running a razor over his wrist and slightly injuring himself.
“After being approached, he obeyed the officers’ request and set the razor on the table. He shivered repeatedly, saying that he no longer wanted to live and admitted mental illnesses, “said Jiřina Ernestová, adding that the patrol tried to still communicate with the man until the arrival of the paramedics and managed to calm the 27-year-old man. “The summoned paramedics then handed him over to the care of experts,” she added.
