Top photo 2021: The unusual charm of quiet Prague through the eyes of Radoslav Vnenčák
In his silence from the past year, photographer Radoslav captured the way they could barely imagine it three or four years ago: an unusually empty a.
Like many of us, Radoslav Vnenčák hoped in early 2021 that life would gradually return to normal. “I like Prague, which lives, where you can go to a beer pub and attend a concert of your favorite band,” he says. As we already know, it was not fulfilled. However, this created interesting photographs of an empty metropolis, which would have been very difficult to take a few years ago.
“On the other hand, there may have been more peace in arranging cooperation with various institutions in connection with my photography. I managed to establish contact with the city of Prague, the National Museum or the National Theater. All this opens up other possibilities for me to photograph Prague places and at unusual times, “says the photographer.
