Toulouse: drunk, he drives in the wrong direction “high” on amphetamines and cocaine
Driving at high speed and against the grain in the Izards district, after having had a powerful cocktail of drugs and alcohol, the driver of a scooter was arrested this Thursday, January 6 in the evening by the police.
During a routine patrol in the Izards district in Toulouse, a crew from the BST (Specialized Field Brigade) spotted a scooter rolling in the surrounding streets. Its driver burns a light and begins to roll against the direction of a moving car. The agents chase him and summon him to stop his two-wheeler.
This 32-year-old man, a priori unknown to the police, complies and submits to alcohol and drug tests. He had been waiting for an explosive cocktail. He is positive for several illicit substances: cannabis, amphetamines and cocaine. To top it off, it has an alcohol level of one gram per liter of blood, which is double the authorized limit. The individual does not have the necessary license to pilot this kind of racing car.
The police also get a few grams of cannabis resin in his clothes. He was in place in police custody, while waiting for the Toulouse public prosecutor’s office to rule on his case.
