Marseille: Florent Houdmon will take the reins of the City’s habitat service
According to our information Florent Houdmon, current director of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur regional agency Abbé Pierre Foundation (FAP), should join the administration of the City of Marseille. In March, this political science graduate (IEP Rennes) should take the reins of the habitat service and fight against housing unworthy of the municipality led by Benoît Payan.
Marseille: Benoît Payan calls on the State to organize the “Estates General” against undignified housing
Florent Houdmon has been the head of the regional agency of FAP since October 2018. Previously, he was for almost nine years (2010 – 2018) director of the association Compagnons Bâtisseurs de Provence, a structure which fights against poor housing and undignified habitat in the Alpes-Maritimes, Bouches-du-Rhône, Var and Vaucluse.
Remember that the municipal administration has seen its organization completely turned upside down. The seventeen deputy general managers who made up the time of Jean-Claude Gaudin are no more than seven today. And at the head of this tightened organization chart, we found Didier Ostré, former Deputy Director General of the Association of Mayors of France (AMF) who took over from Benoît Quignon this fall.
