Anyone who knows anything, can give the information to the Naoussa Police Department, or to our team… There will be strict secrecy… SILENCE IS COMPLICATION AND DEFINES YOU ALSO CRIMES…. SPEAK FINALLY !!! “, it is typically mentioned.
The story of a blind dog who was found wandering alone in the village of Naoussa and has now found her own home after an incredible adventure, gives a strong message of true love and strength.
Although blind, she decided one day to leave the place of hosting stray animals in an area outside Naoussa and following her instinct and her love for Dimitris Sidiropoulos ended up at his house again.
The beginning of a strong bond
It all started a few months ago in the village of Hariessa where one day Dimitris Sidiropoulos, the president of the village, spotted a small dog, about 2 years old, wandering alone on his property, looking for a few moments. She realized, in fact, that her eyes were white and she could not see. Thinking that he may be looking for food, he decides to feed her. “After I fed her, she stayed in the field so I went the next day and fed her again. So one day, he found himself outside my house which is a few kilometers (500 meters) from the field without me knowing exactly how he arrived. Possibly from the smell “, he stated characteristically to ThessToday.gr.
As expected, he held her temporarily and continued to take care of her daily until a solution was found for what would be transferred. “I contacted my colleague from the animal welfare center of Naoussa, from which we have support regarding the homeless. “We did the necessary vaccinations and he stayed with me for about a month, then he was transferred to the temporary shelter for the homeless in the Municipality of Naoussa, where he is outside the area, 10 kilometers from my house,” he said.
The daily life of the blind dog
It is worth mentioning that in the yard of his house where the blind dog now found love and care, there are 13 other dogs, of which only three are dominant. “All together they are in the same place and live harmoniously. He plays all day with the rest and as soon as we go out in the yard he comes straight to our feet. They all know the time of their meal and gather the moment my wife gives them the food. The blind dog, in fact, sometimes when he feels insecure or feels threatened, gets a little angry and the vision he does not have. However, when he realizes that there is no danger, he calms down and everything is fine. “We have sterilized the 13 and our new member will be sterilized soon”, described Mr. Sidiropoulos.
The president of the village, influenced by his wife’s weakness in animals, became quite attached to them and at the moment he can not leave. “I now realize that he receives more love from the strays you care for than from my three, for example, that I had when I was little,” he said characteristically, and went on to point out that “If one can not keep a dog for any reason, good. is to give it somewhere so that it is not suddenly on the road but of course not to abuse it. I consider it a great sin. “Let them not give them food or care but at least not torture or harm them.”
