For avoid gatherings in the Chamber of Deputies, the big electors will be called in rotation, in blocks of 180-200 people. It is about 1,009 voters, 630 deputies and 315 senators, plus 58 regional delegates, three for each Region except for the Aosta Valley which has one.

The seat in the Senate of Fabio Porta, of the Democratic Party, not yet assigned, must be subtracted from the calculation, which will instead happen for the seat left vacant by Roberto Gualtieri, who became mayor of Rome, thanks to supplementary in the capital, Sunday 16th January. The election requires a qualified majority of two thirds of the assembly in the first three votes, therefore equal to 673 electors; after the first three ballots, just the absolute majority, 505. In less than a month the parties are called to find an agreement, and at the moment there are no certain names: theassembly of senators of the M5S a very large majority would like a Mattarella bis, but the current president has already repeatedly declined the invitation to stay.
