Something like that has never happened before. Now from the best times of the DPF, tournaments are played in one country but in different countries. Now all four – so I will say two semi-finals, play-off and the final – will be played in one place, and then in Toruń.

DPŚ 2023 will be played from Tuesday, July 25 to Saturday, July 29. During this time, there will be two semi-final tournaments, a play-off tournament and a final tournament. The Polish national team will be in the last set-up.

In the final we will see the winners of the semi-finals, the play-off (the local group 2-3 from the semi-finals will probably go, but use no information) and that’s it. In the semi-finals we will go eight national ones. The qualification will be Speedway of Nations 2022. Assuming that the Polish national team will be in the SON 2022 final, a team of six from the final tournament and two with a fourth place from the semi-final tournaments will qualify to make DPŚ 2023.

If, on the basis of last year’s SON, a list of SEM students were compiled, it would look like this: Great Britain, Poland, Sweden, Denmark, Australia, Latvia, France, Germany and the USA. On the other hand, analogous countries such as Russia, Finland, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Italy and Ukraine would not qualify.

We already know what the team will look like. Team a team composed of equal equal contributions plus a spare, which will be allowed to be a team player.

It is known that the SQF will be played every three years, and the next one will not be seen until the 2025 season.

In the event, it is not known what about the DMŚJ in 2023. In 2022, they were integrated into the SON and as part of the SON week in Esbjerg, Denmark, SON 2 will be held as the “old” DMWJ final, but played in the par. It’s hard to say what awaits us in 2023. Perhaps during the week of the Junior Championship in Toruń there will be the final of the Junior Championship or the Junior Championship? The FIM has set five days for the Toruń DPŚ tournament, and there are four tournaments within the DPŚ, so there is one day off. Maybe the “old” DMME?

Let us remind you that the SDW was played in the years 2001-2017 and it gave way earlier to the DMŚ. The last DPŚ played in 2017 in Leszno was won by Poland consisting of Bartosz Zmarzlik, Maciej Janowski, Patryk Dudek, Bartosz Smektała, and Piotr Pawlicki under the leadership of coach Marek Cieślak. Sweden came second, followed by Russia.

In the past years of the DPŚ, the construction was used with huge criticism of Polish fans of the Speedway of Nations, which is played in the form of shaping the World of Couples.
