But what is the image of the works? According to what is recorded this year, the extension of line 3 to Piraeus with 3 new stations will be completed and will operate. At the same time, in the 3rd quarter of 2022, it is estimated that the progress of the projects for the new Line 4 Veikos – Goudi Grove will reach 7%. According to the planning of Attiko Metro, in the next period the construction sites will be opened in the other stations as well, ie in Alsos Veikou, Galatsi, Elikonos, Kypseli, Exarchia, Kaisariani, Panepistimioupoli, Zografou, Ilisia and Goudi.

In the Thessaloniki Metro, it is estimated that in 2022 the removal of the antiquities of Venizelos station will be completed (2nd quarter) while the contract for the supply of 15 additional trains that will cover the needs of the main line and the Kalamaria line will be signed.

Finally, within the first quarter that her contract was signed for the start of the preliminary works for the extension of the Metro to Western Thessaloniki. The contract will be the first step to reach the Metro in large areas of the metropolitan complex of the city.
