On one of the snowy streets of Budapest, school children got involved in a huge snowball battle in January 1959.
In the winter of 1978, a bus got stuck in Győr-Moson-Sopron county and slipped into the ditch due to heavy snow. The passengers on the bus try to push the vehicle into the ditch with a concerted effort.

In 1987, the extraordinary snowfall that lasted for days put the capital’s approximately 2 million inhabitants to the test. The roads of Budapest were covered with 30-50 cm of snow, usually only the main routes could be walked, the access roads were covered with thick snow, most of the cars were also captured by the snow.
