A pedestrian was brutally beaten on October 23 in front of the Christian Doppler Clinic in the Liefering district of Salzburg. Now – more than two months after the attack – the police have launched a call for witnesses. The main search is for the taxi driver who previously drove the alleged perpetrator in the area.
Back then, after getting off the passenger, the passenger got into an argument with a man who happened to be passing by. After a verbal argument, the stranger attacked the pedestrian and hit and kicked him, the Salzburg police announced on Wednesday.

Both men fell to the ground, the victim was seriously injured in the argument. After the previous investigation steps have not led to the desired success, the investigators are now relying on evidence from witnesses. The attack was carried out on October 23 between 7 a.m. and 7.30 a.m. in Guggenmoosstrasse.
Salzburg police are looking for witnesses
The police are investigating apparently serious bodily harm. Not only the taxi driver, but also all other people who can provide information about the course of the crime or statements about the perpetrator, can contact the journal service of the Salzburg Criminal Department (phone: 059133-55-3333) or any other police station.
