37 collection points
In addition to door-to-door collection and drop-offs, the Rouen Metropolis will set up 37 collection points in 22 municipalities in the territory. An interactive map available on the Métropole website allows residents wishing to recycle their trees to find out about collection points close to their homes.
Recycled trees into compost
These drop-off points will be set up from December 27 in Rouen and from January 3, 2022 for the other municipalities. As for the collection, it will take place between January 17 and 21, 2022 depending on the municipality, with an additional collection between Christmas and December 31 for the city of Rouen.
To be accepted, the tree must not contain any decoration and not yield the two meters. Log type wooden supports as well as fir bags are authorized.
Once the collection is complete, a new life has begun for our Christmas trees which proudly sat in our living rooms and which will end up in compost.
