Rather than throwing away your tree after Christmas, why not turn it into compost: this is what the Metropolis is organizing by collecting tired trees to add value to them and can be placed on December 27, 2021!
No less than 7 Christmas tree collection points will be set up throughout the city, starting on Monday, December 27. Here is the list, in detail:
- Île Lacroix (in the parking lot of the Guy Boissière center)
- Saint-Sever church
- Cours Clémenceau (at the junction with rue Lafayette)
- rue Pasteur (between the streets of Le Nostre and Duguay-Trouin)
- Marcel Duchamp esplanade
- Boulingrin square
- Charlotte Delbo municipal center
Once their decorations have been removed, everyone can drop off their Christmas tree (wooden stands and Christmas tree bags are accepted) at the collection point closest to their home.
Tours are scheduled for December 31, 2021 and then in mid-January 2022. Note that everyone can also go to one of the Rouen Normandie metropolitan area’s waste reception centers. It’s always better than leaving your tree on the public road and thus exposing yourself to a fine!
