In Saint-Léonard (Pas-de-Calais), Father Christmas will have “all the rights” from this Friday evening
It is a very official municipal decree taken by the mayor of Saint Léonard which stipulates in its article 1: “in order to allow Santa Claus to distribute gifts in good conditions, he will have the right to circulate and park on the roofs of schools and town hall as he sees fit during the night of December 15 to 17 and from December 24 to December 25, 2021 “. Gwenaëlle Loire rolls out the red carpet to the old man with the white beard:
He has all the rights to Santa Claus. It can circulate for the distribution of parcels for children and adults.
With this measure, the mayor wants to give back the “smile and joy to the inhabitants given the health crisis and make the eyes of children and adults sparkle”. The chosen one even staged on the town hall’s facebook account via a video where she is on the phone with Santa Claus so that he comes for the first time in the town just before the school holidays: board games and puzzles had been distributed in the 4 schools of Saint Léonard.
Recommendations for children
This municipal decree also formulates some recommendations for children: “respect parents’ instructions especially at bedtime”, “refrain from trying to meet Santa Claus during the distribution of gifts following the latter’s very busy schedule”.
