Ice hockey: Magnus League – Magnus League: day 28: Rouen vs Amiens – LM; dragons miss the double winner
Determined not to repeat their bad start from the day before, the dragons immediately got the game in hand. And so during the first five minutes put enormous pressure on the Picards who are forced to stay as close as possible to their goalkeeper.
The latter will do the round back in front of the pikes of Tessier (2 ‘) then a scrum in front of the cage which is stopped on a displaced cage. Shortly after, the zebras will refuse a but Rouennais (3.12) the cage having moved at the time of the shooting, which has the gift of annoying the coach Lhenry.

Once the storm has passed, the game balances and Pintaric finally gets involved, using his shield to parry a shot. Rouen is still dangerous but is particularly feverish in his last move, or a little too slow, which allows his opponent to read the game enough to block the shots.
On a particularly hot save by Pintaric (9 ‘) the spirits warm up and the referees calm the game by putting a Gothic in prison … which does not however allow the Normans to take the lead on this superiority.
Back to parity, the Amiens show a little too much boldness and will be sanctioned in the wake. Taking their revival against the odds, Rouen’s attacking trio steals the puck and creates a three-to-one situation with Guilbert at the finish. The latter well shifted, goes from a wrist shot on a quick pass from Chakiachvili, piercing the nets of Buysse (12.22 / 1 – 0 / Guilbert ass Chakiachvili and Cantagallo).
On the teeth, the men of the coach Mortas will put themselves again to the fault, leaving the dragons masters of the game for three minutes thanks to a deferred reward during which Pintaric abandoned his nets for a minute, without however that his teammates arrive to drive the nail.
The last opportunity on this third will also be in favor of the Amiens with its captain, Bault, who will not be able to adjust his sights on an instinctive shot. After having recovered a puck poorly managed by the Dragons which was lying in Pintaric’s end zone, he narrowly missed the skylight.

Dragons break free under pressure
Raised like cuckoos, and surely boosted by their coach during the break, the Amiens are the first to show up on the puck.
Faced with dragons who quickly find themselves overwhelmed by the ardor of their opponent Sabatier takes advantage of a two against one initiated by his friend Naas to come back to equality via a nice throw (21.03 / 1 – 1 / Sabatier ass Naas).

The Rouennais then emit the blue of heat with Vigners to the baguette, but the breastplate of the Cerberus Picard comes to counter his shot. Djemel responds tit for tat but also stumbles on the last opposing rampart. His friend West will see him, his shot shifted from a beautiful Pintaric mitten.
The tempo turns more and more to the advantage of the Picards, who even in inferiority (24 ‘) show abnegation and a sense of sacrifice, blocking the passes, the Norman shots of the special units.
At mid-match, Tessier tries a grigri against Buysse without success, does not manage to slide the puck under the goalie’s pads. The Rouennais are gradually making their mark, after a period when their passes too rough or slow, made their attacks too predictable.
However, this remains insufficient to regain control of the match, despite a new penalty whistled against Amiens (32 ‘). Only Vigners will have a real opportunity to score thirty seconds from the end of the penalty, but misses the open goal.
Suffering shortly after their first penalty, the Dragons will endeavor to limit intrusions into their camp against the Picardy special units which are particularly efficient this season. There are only two minutes left on these levels and despite a superb combination between Lampérier and Nesa, the two teams return to the locker room with parity on the scoreboard.

Poker and gambling
This time, on this last third, it is the Dragons who declare themselves more offensive as soon as the skates find the edge of the ice. The first alert is on a three against one of the Normans, then an opportunity in or from Tomasino who on the engagement launched to the cage… without success.

Buysse made reflex stops against the strafing of the Normans, but could not block everything when the puck was the subject of a pitched battle in front of its goal. The captain of the Normans takes his responsibilities and after having nabbed the puck in the goal zone, the reverse manages to overtake the cerberus Picard and scores (43.44 / 2 – 1 / Flood ass Vigners and Yeo).
Annoyed the Picards will once again put it to the fault, but once again will manage to stop all the Norman attempts in a remarkable team spirit, helped in this by a flagrant lack of success of the Normans who still do not arrive to frame their shots.
Worse, back to parity, the Picards feel themselves growing wings and will once again show that they are far from having abdicated! Taking advantage of a rare rebound left by Pintaric they will manage to equalize again, thanks to Pearce who lonely, at the far post, lodges the puck in a mouse hole (47.32 / 2 – 2 / Pearce ass Naas and Pretnar).
In the money time, a twist of fate benefits the Gothics who launch their last forces into the battle, taking advantage of a slack of the Normans, surely marked by the sequence of meetings. On a quick attack Simonsen arrived staggered along the board with a Norman defender on his heels.
Wanting to make a pass in the center, he sees it deflected by the Rouen defender, unlucky on this one, because the puck goes straight into the nets of a disillusioned Pintaric, when he had almost closed the door. (58.03 / 2 – 3 / Simonsen ass Lapachuk and Leclerc).
Coach Lhenry immediately asks for a time out and as soon as the opportunity arises sends out his keeper to try everything.
This poker move turns out to be a winner pushed by his audience, the dragons will finally offer themselves the path of overtime on a pass from Yeo towards the floods which immediately shoot towards the goal. Hardy leaves can not capture the puck resumed with aggressiveness by Vigners who crucifies Buysse. (58.56 / 3 – 3 / Flood Yeo Ass)

Amiens wins
The five-minute overtime will prove to be stifling for the supporters of both camps who vibrate on each paddle approaching the opposing goal and who shiver as soon as the danger is on their own goal.

In this small game it is “Amiens advantage” which will prove to be the most dangerous, in front of the Norman corn zone, but will not manage to deceive Pintaric, always decisive when his team is in the hard.
On the Rouennais side, despite mastery of the puck to their advantage, their attempts on Hardy’s corn were also unconvincing.

Shots on goal: if the dragons take a goal from the start, thanks to Guilbert it is finally Amiens who via the shooters Boivin (5th shot) then Naas will manage twice to deceive Pintaric, all the same after 11 spears on each side.
The Dragons thus lose 2 precious points in the meeting, while the race for the podium remains open.
