The Salzburg homeland associations mourn their honorary chairman and speaker for intercultural encounters Erwin Eder. He recently passed away at the age of 75, announced the city of Salzburg in a broadcast.
“Erwin Eder was not only an enthusiastic folk dancer. He was also the founder of the Müllner Bräu culture get-together. There new fellow citizens could present their home culture and at the same time learn everything about the Salzburg folk culture. Erwin Eder did an exemplary mediation work at 55 round tables in nine years. Every cultural association – regardless of origin, size or religion – could deal with the Salzburg folk culture befriend. A very nice handout! ”, Says head of the cultural department and deputy mayor Bernhard Auinger (SPÖ).
