Christmas holidays marked by bad weather in Naples: these are in fact the last days of high pressure, while from Christmas Eve and at least until Santo Stefano the rain will return. The Azorre anticyclone that has characterized these last days of sunshine and temperatures high enough for the seasonal averages, especially in the maximum values, will in fact insist on the Campania capital and, in general, on the whole region, until Thursday 23 December: starting from Friday 24, Christmas Eve, Naples – and most of Italy – will be affected by three perturbations, which will again lead to precipitation in the city.

The weather in Naples during the Christmas holidays

Let’s see, in detail, the weather forecast in Naples for the next few days. As previously said, sunny days and temperatures all in all high until Thursday 23 December, or until the presence of the Azores anticyclone will insist. Starting from Christmas Eve there will be a gradual worsening of the weather conditions: on Friday 24 December 2021 in Campania, in fact, weak rains on the Neapolitan area in the morning; temperature with a maximum of 16 degrees and a minimum of 5 degrees.

The most significant worsening, however, was Christmas day: during December 25, 2021, in fact, abundant rainfall was accompanied by strong winds in Naples; temperatures still high, with a maximum of 15 degrees and above all a minimum of 11 degrees. Precipitation even more abundant in Santo Stefano, Sunday 26 December 2021, but temperatures will still increase: maximum of 16 degrees and minimum of 14 degrees.
