The Days of Africa return in March 2022 in Bordeaux. Thought out and designed for professionals, Girondins and Africans alike, they will be punctuated by several conference-debates. To close the three-day meeting, the final of the African Cup of Nations will take place at the Port de la Lune, within the grounds of the Matmut Atlantique stadium.
The Africa-France summit is no longer, long live the JDNA! This Thursday, December 16 at the CCI Bordeaux-Gironde, was presented the 9th edition of these Days of Africa and its Diasporas. An event that has existed since 2013, and which, in 2022, will take on a new dimension. For three days, from March 24 to 26, 2022, conferences-debates, workshops, workshops and meetings will be organized in Bordeaux – mainly at the Palais de la Bourse – for Girondins and African professionals. “We will take advantage of the fairly important work carried out to prepare this famous Africa-France summit that we have never seen, presents Patrick Seguin, president of the Bordeaux Gironde CCI. All this work that has been put to sleep will be resumed, and we will try to be as efficient as possible to make this event a great success. ”
The leitmotif of the event is already displayed: “towards innovative partnerships with Africa”. “JNDA is everyone’s business, underlines Pierre de Gaétan Njikam, founder of the event. They are the embodiment in Bordeaux – a territory that is not trivial for relations with Africa – of strong ambition. That of considering that Africa today is not waiting for anyone to embark on its own destiny, that Africa is a land of economic opportunities. “ This event is intended to be a major economic event, as clarified by David Gaudry, associate director of the Bloom agency, co-organizer of the event. “Bordeaux has the legitimacy to create this meeting of the JNDA. And to make it an international, world-class event. We need to create a strong, visible brand on Africa. “ This brand will be unveiled in March during the event, which is intended to be renewed each year, and from 2024, alternating between Bordeaux and an African country.
Three days for professionals
Three highlights will be offered for “Highlight the actors who make the relations between Africa, France and its diasporas”, continuation Yannick Kwetchoua, president of the Club Bordeaux-Cameroun-France – recently renamed Club of the builders. On March 24, it will be “The time to promote African thought”, from an economic point of view. Then on March 25 and 26, this economy will be broken down into six themes: the financing of SMEs and SMIs; digital “Which has enabled Africa to make a leap over the past ten years” ; ecological transition; agriculture that will be “A very important aspect, and in particular because New Aquitaine is the leading agricultural region in France” ; education, training and employability of young people, Africa being the youngest continent today; and finally social protection and health. “All this in a spirit of win-win partnerships”, says Yannick Kwetchoua. If the speakers have not yet been announced, Pierre de Gaétan Njikam unveiled the presence of Alain Juppé on March 25 at the JNDA. Note that the conferences ” high level “ will be open to the general public, but private rooms, workshops and workshops will be reserved for professionals.
Finally, March 26, the day would be festive to celebrate the event, and put in place African culture. “We will welcome 3,500 people over the three days, enthuses David Gaudry. Above all, the CAN final, the African Cup of Nations, will be held at the Matmut Atlantique stadium. ” A beautiful program, which will be clarified as and when.
