Why choose an ultralight helicopter?
This type of aircraft appeared in 1995. The basis of this device is an ULM with a cockpit and propellers like its big brother, the helicopter. It has several advantages for discovering the unique landscapes of the Annecy basin. Visibility is panoramic thanks to its cockpit which is fully glazed.
From an environmental standpoint, it consumes much less fuel and its noise level makes it much less noisy. It was designed to allow paraglider and hang-glider pilots to take off from places other than the side of a mountain. An engine thus allows it to take off easily from flat ground like in Doussard, at the end of Lake Annecy. It is therefore a wise choice for a unique first flight in the Alps aboard a two-seater ULM helicopter. For longer flights lasting 30 minutes, a classic helicopter model is necessary to have sufficient autonomy. This type of device also makes it possible to carry more passengers.
