Annecy. The City wants to give more resources to the municipal social action center
The City of Annecy has decided to expand the field of action of the municipal social action center (CCAS) and to supplement its resources. To do this, it decided to slide 29 civil servant positions (notably from the Intervalles reception, the domiciliation service and the senior management) to the CCAS. The objective is to support certain audiences not followed by the services of the departmental council.
During the Annecy municipal council meeting on December 13, Jean-Jacques Pasquier (“For Annecy naturally”) worried about the future of Intervalle and the missions it was leading. He gave the testimony of a hotel owner who had taken in a person in precariousness and does not receive municipal aid to support this reception.
Bénédicte Serrate, action and social link assistant, replied “that Intervalle had never offered accommodation since it was a day care center. ”In addition, the other reception of this type, La Halte, L’Herminette and the luggage of the Manufacture will be entrusted to associations, via delegations of public service. According to her, “the CCAS will rather focus on an immediate reception to help people define their rights”.
Christiane Laydevant (“Annecy together”) wanted to know what the impact of this new organization would be on local services that she considers difficult to access in delegated town halls ”. To which Bénédicte Serrate replied that it was for the moment complicated to envisage a presence of the CCAS in these town halls, too affected by the cyberattack. “We will certainly get there,” she concluded.
