In the city of Salzburg, police officers caught a drug dealer selling and arrested him. Clues from the population lead the officials on the trail of the 22-year-old.
In the vicinity of Salzburg’s main train station, police caught the man dying while he was selling marijuana to a customer. The accused admitted that he had been selling drugs for a long time: and always in the same place in the Elisabethvorstadt – he earned up to 1,500 euros. These deals were made through a cell phone messaging service. The 22-year-old is on remand.
Driven by red light under the influence of drugs
On Monday, officials from the Salzburg regional traffic department caught a 21-year-old driver of a car in the course of drug and alcohol controls who had test traces of marijuana and cocaine.
The civil patrol had previously noticed the man’s car because it had ignored a red light. During the driver and vehicle inspection that was carried out, it was found that the driver has no driving authorization at all. Initially, the 21-year-old gave a different identity to cover it up. His driver’s license was revoked some time ago because he was stopped for drug driving.
The driver was examined by a police doctor from the Salzburg State Police Department and found to be unfit to drive due to drug abuse and fatigue. It will be displayed.
