Seminar – Challenges of Industry 4.0 in Portugal – Press Releases
The difficulties of technological evolution in our industrial fabric will be debated in Porto
The seminar “Industry 4.0 Challenges in Portugal”, promoted by Associação FRAUNHOFER Portugal Research, SANJOTEC – Scientific and Technological Association and INOVA-RIA – Association of Companies for Innovation Network in Aveiro, will take place on December 15th (Wednesday – fair), between 14:00 and 18:15, in the Porto Inova Building (Porto).
This seminar is part of the i4.0 project Leading the Digital Transformation, which in turn emerges within the scope of the Support System for Collective Actions (SIAC) – Qualification, whose objective is to encourage the adoption of industry 4.0 methodologies in Portuguese SMEs, in traditional and technological sectors, in order to enhance the characteristic and the creation of value (more information at www.leadthedigital.com). The project has an intervention scope in the North and Center Region (NUTS II).
In this event, the following themes were addressed with particular emphasis: Different opportunities and challenges to promote the digital transformation in the industrial sector; How advanced production technologies are changing working, working and business models; Innovation trends in smart manufacturing; Financing Opportunities in Industry 4.0.
There will also be space for the presentation of case studies to highlight and disseminate to participants the best practices in the process of digital transformation of associations, especially those operating in the manufacturing industry and with medium / high intensity in technology.
This initiative will end with a coordinated and structured presentation of the main financing opportunities, which arise from the respective instruments involved for this purpose, in order to leverage and accelerate the associations’ investment intentions.
