Annecy. A worker intoxicated with carbon monoxide in a cellar with a thermal grinder
The firefighters are negotiated at the foot of a building on avenue d’Aléry in Annecy, this Monday, December 13 in the middle of the afternoon, to take care of a man victim of carbon monoxide poisoning ( CO) in a cellar as part of his professional activity. The alert was given at 4:38 p.m.
The 49-year-old man was doing work in a cave, making cuts using a thermal grinder. The CO fumes from the tool eventually cluttered up the small basement space of a seven-story building, causing the worker to experience nausea and headaches. Placed on oxygen, the slightly intoxicated man was evacuated in a state of emergency at the Annecy hospital.
The building was not rejected. The caves have been ventilated to remove the risks.
