San Marino. Futsal: the leaders compete, Fiorentino and San Giovanni see the second place

Sugar Mizzy December 12, 2021

It happens that after two days the confrontation between Folgore and Tre Fiori is proposed both in the football championship and in the futsal one.

If in the first case it was a competition of undisputed interest, the thing is even more true in the second, since opposite, tomorrow, there will be the leaders of the two groups. No direct interest of one regarding the classification of the other, given that the championship is in full intergirone phase. However, it is easy to imagine that the two teams will take the opportunity to study and measure each other in anticipation of the hottest phase of the tournament. Or rather: study further, given that tomorrow will not be a new season. Folgore and Tre Fiori have already met in the Titano Futsal Cup, with the giallorossoneri able to win 2-1. The mission of the latter, firmly at the top of Group A, will be the solitary one: to continue winning as always made to neglect. The Gialloblù, on the other hand, see the competition more closely – La Fiorita, in this specific case – and have a winning streak behind them to be extended to six.

On the other hand, tomorrow’s big match is also a great opportunity for Fiorita herself, who, however, will have to compete with one of the revelations of the tournament, that San Giovanni forcefully returned to the fight for the play-offs after the knockout of Domagnano against Tre Fiori. The Wolves will be at rest tomorrow and then the Rossoneri will turn more than a thought to not only third but even second place, which is currently only one point away from them, although in the middle of the fight – indeed, of the fray – there is also the Fiorentino. The latter returned from the rest session and is expected from the intersection with Cosmos, returning from two consecutive derbies with Juvenes-Dogana, the first of which – the championship one – winning. The yellow-green had not yet won and that breath of fresh air could have the viaticum to continue a difficult continuity but not yet prohibitive, a pact to find that quid necessary to reverse the prediction that fatally sees them underdogs against the reigning champion team, perhaps this year not perfect as in recent times but in any case in possession of all the necessary weapons to advance their candidacy for second place and even more so for the third.

It was said of a Cosmos not yet called to a desperate enterprise in optics post season. The speech instead begins to become quite true for the Juvenes-Dogana, who after the defeat in the derby slipped to -12 from the domiciled couple to the third step of the podium (Fiorentino and San Giovanni). Here and now, Zonzini and his boys absolutely, almost desperately need to hit the second victory in the championship against a Faetano just zero in that respect, and able to put just one point in the draw a lifetime ago (it was the race debut) against the Cosmos. In Fiorentino’s second match, immediately after San Giovanni-La Fiorita, the Pennarossa will look for points not so much to undermine the second place (very distant) as to protect the third from the possible attack of Virtus, climbed to -1 from the golden zone thanks to the three useful results in the last three races, while in the same period the team from Chiesanuova has collected as many defeats. The mission to raise his head passes from the confrontation with Cailungo, leading group A in cohabitation with Juvenes-Dogana and also, like Faetano, no longer able to score points after his convincing debut with Libertas. The grenades will be Virtus’ opponents of the day, back in the running for the play-offs and more than agreements to extend the positive streak, hoping tomorrow also in a favor of Cailungo. But watch out for Penserini’s team, which this year did not skimp on surprises and which, although far from being sucked into the darkest part of the ranking, perhaps trying to immediately reconnect that speech of victories interrupted last Monday before two consecutive matches at La Fiorita .

here is the framework of the 10th day championship:
