Genoa, ‘Voices in the shadow’ awards Stefano De Sando and Tiziana Avarista
The Golden Ring for the best male and female voices in cinema was awarded to Stefano De Sando, voice actor of Gary Oldman in MANK, and to Tiziana Avarista, voice actress of Candela Peña in the film THE WEDDING OF ROSE. The best voices in the television sector are those of Andrea Lavagnino, Alvaro Morte in the series LA CASA DI CARTA, and Chiara Colizzi, voice actress of Nicole Kidman in NINE PERFECT STRANGERS. These are some of the winners of the 22nd edition of the International Dubbing Festival VOICES IN THE SHADOW under the direction of Tiziana Voarino which ended in Genoa with the ceremony of the awarding of the Golden Rings to the Doge’s Palace.
As for the general dubbing, the award in the Cinema category went to Carlo Cosolo, who directed the Italian version of DUNE, while the Golden Ring for the best general television dubbing went to Laura Boccanera for BILLIONS. The prize for the adaptation of the dialogues, a particular and complex specialization in the sector, went to Alessandro Rossi for the film THE PADRE, to Roberto Gammino and Alessia La Monica for the television series LUPINE. He also gives the Lifetime Achievement Award to Luigi La Monica, voice actor of Jonathan Pryce, Christopher Walken and William Hurt among others. A recognition went to the young Alberto Vannini and Luca Tesei, voices of the animated film LUCA, while the television series BLANCA obtained the International Award for audio innovation included, thanks to the particular technique used to grant perfect listening even to hearing impaired people. .
