A whirlwind of matches. After the win in Ostrava, the reigning champion is waiting for the Brno basketball players
The Brno basketball players, who held the first two matches of the Northern European League at the beginning of December after a national team break, have a challenging program behind them. After a two-day break, they immediately jumped into the next duel of the highest Czech competition. “We already have five matches in our legs this month,” remarked Brno coach Lubomír Růžička after Saturday’s match in Ostrava.

In the north of Moravia, his charges won with a total of 85:72. “We arrived completely focused and the boys did what I told them before the match. But we are sorry for twenty-three offensive rebounds in Ostrava, “said Růžička, whose team is fourth in the table.
Richard Bálint became the most scoring basketball player, scoring eighteen points. “We entered the match decently, then came the downturn, but fortunately we took care of it,” Bálint mentioned.
Volleyball fell again without winning the set. We have to think about ourselves, the coach said
On Monday at six o’clock in the evening, the people of Brno will start on the board of the sovereign Nymburk, who lost in this league for the first time only on the Opava 98: 100 course. “In the first match this year, we played against the reigning champions with exaggerated respect (70:88 – editor’s note). But I think that our game has generally improved since then, “said Růžička, who does not have injured quarterbacks Petr Křivánek and Roman Marek.
