Great hockey weekend at the Palaonda – Vienna and Salzburg are coming
After the two consecutive victories against Graz and Dornbirn, HCB Alto Adige Alperia is ready to face a new weekend at home, with two cartel games on the horizon.
On Friday 10 December, at 7.45 pm, the Foxes will welcome again the spusu Vienna Capitals. Just a week ago the two teams had faced each other for the first time this season, with the Austrians able to conquer Palaonda 2 to 1 thanks to a goal from Lakos. A balanced match and a defeat of measure that the red and white wants to avenge. But be careful, because the Capitals are in a great moment of form, with four consecutive victories behind them, 13 in the last 16 outings.
The Bolzano, for its part, managed to return to the Top Six, with 1,652 points per game: Vienna, in fourth position with 1,792 points per game, is one of the direct competitors in the first squares and boasts the best defense of the championship, with 55 goals conceded. Among the red and white powerplay has returned to work, with four goals in the last two games: step by step, the Foxes are trying to adjust all aspects of the game, with the awareness that the points will start to weigh from now on.
Sunday 12 December, at 18:00, the Palaonda will arriveEC Red Bull Salzburg. The two teams have already met four times this season: twice in the league, with the Foxes able to win twice in Salzburg (0-3 and 1-4) and twice in Europe (Bolzano victorious at the Eisarena for 3-5, Red Bulls corsairs at Palaonda with a 3-4 overtime). The troop of coach Matt McIlvane is confirming itself at high levels, with a second place in the league and 1,800 points per game, in pursuit of leaders Ljubljana.
The red and white roster
The red and white coaching staff will be able to count on the same numbers seen on the pitch in Dornbirn: to make room for Daniel Ciampini, therefore, Dylan Di Perna should remain out temporarily.
