Salzburg’s offspring made it to the round of 16 as group winners of the UEFA Youth League. The “young bulls” coached by Rene Aufhauser prevailed on Wednesday in a “final” in Grödig 2-0 against Sevilla FC, took revenge for the 0-2 in the first duel and thus gained one point in the table past the Spaniards.
After six games, the U19 Champions League trailer has four wins and two defeats. The decision on Wednesday field was late, outstanding was Croatia’s U21 team striker Roko Simic with a goal (91st) and assist.

The Spaniards are also represented in the competition as second in the pool, but have to go through a play-off on the way to the round of 16. Salzburg will find out about their opponents in the round of 16 at the draw in Nyon on February 14th. March.
