Toulouse. Squatters pierced the ceiling of the house to move from the ground floor to the second floor
Frédéric has just recovered his accommodation after two weeks of occupation by squatters. There is considerable damage inside this house.
“The house is in an incredible state of insalubrity,” says Frédéric. Since the squatters left his parents’ home, rue Bresdin, in the Bourrassol district in Toulouse, this 56-year-old man has made an inventory. “I don’t understand how they were able to live for two weeks in a house. also for sale! Garbage littered the ground when they left, filth was everywhere. I even found rotten socks and clothes, ”explains the owner.
“Activists, not people in need”
On November 20, this Dax resident was alerted on Saturday of an intrusion into the property of his recently deceased parents. For two weeks, he fought to get his property back. “The system is complicated. Without the help of the press, this is almost impossible. “
Last Thursday, he showed up in front of his home to chat. But around thirty squatters attacked him by throwing eggs and water at him. A treatment similar to that reserved for our journalist, also on site that day… “If it was families in need, okay. But there, they act out of activism. They are against the property and all that it represents ”, he adds, relieved to learn of their evacuation which took place this weekend.
The shutters also broken
“If they hadn’t come out on their own, we wouldn’t have been able to dislodge them. They had condemned all the windows to bunkerize the place. They even cut a hole in the ceiling between the ground floor and the second floor to facilitate passage using a ladder. “
In addition to the psychological shock he suffered, Frédéric will have to fight with his insurance to repair the accidents. “They also broke the roller shutters for me. When I finish the work, I plan to sell this house. This experience shocked me, I am tired. “
