A couple was arrested after having insulted, threatened with death and assaulted Tisséo agents in Toulouse, following the refusal to wear a mask to get on the bus. This is the second assault on a bus driver in a few days in the Pink City.
This is the second assault on a bus driver in just a few days. This Monday evening, December 6, a Tisséo agent was pushed around and threatened with death by a man who did not have a ticket. The day after this attack, around 11 p.m., in the Arènes district in Toulouse, the police were alerted by agents from the transport authority.
A 26-year-old man and his 27-year-old company refused to wear a mask to board the bus. The man also did not have a ticket. The bus driver will then be insulted and threatened with death by this couple. The driver alerts Tisséo’s security guards to help him.
Four victims
Here again, the duo, visibly very upset, will pour out a flood of insults and death threats to security agents. They will also carry several kicks at the level of the legs. The young man will also show off his penis and make obscene gestures to the bus driver as well as to the security guards.
The couple, known to the courts, will finally be arrested by the police and taken to the police station, but here again, the situation will deteriorate again. In the precincts of the police station, the couple begins to degrade the equipment and still insults the police. They will also deal with violence against an official.
In total, four victims for this couple who did not want to wear the mask. The 50-year-old driver and the 35-year-old security guard filed a complaint. The two individuals are still in police custody.
