Wages in Central Bohemia rose more slowly than in Prague and throughout the country
In fact, the average gross monthly nominal wage is not the average of the remuneration that a particular person receives for their work. It is a statistical analysis as the ratio of the total volume of wages (including remuneration) and the number of full-time employees. Nevertheless, these values are among the most watched in the statistics: they attract attention both with the term “average” and the fact that they really come from a package of real money that is distributed among real people. Now the release of the latest values is even more topical as the pay deadline is approaching in many companies and institutions – and it’s before Christmas.
Data for the third quarter suggest that Central Bohemians have improved. The value of the average wage reached CZK 37,625 and increased by CZK 1,747 (ie 4.9 percent) compared to the same period last year, Iva Šnejdová from the regional administration of the Czech Statistical Office informed on Monday. “Above average, the region ranked second behind the capital city of Prague and above the national average,” she stated.
Rescuers are experiencing an onslaught: not only more trips, but also bargaining
This has been going on for a long time. However, in this imaginary comparison, the metropolis is ahead of the “steamer”, the Central Bohemian average wage is ahead of the national value only “about the breasts”. The average salary for the Czech Republic will reach CZK 37,499, when it represents 5 CZK by 2012 (which is 7 percent compared to last year). “The year-on-year average of the average wage in the region was lower than the national average by CZK 265 and 0.8 percentage points,” Šnejdová noted. Prague is a big world: CZK 45,523 with an increase of CZK 2,256 (5.2 percent) compared to 2020.
By the way – there are 409.3 thousand recalculated workers in this mathematics in Central Bohemia (with an increase of 7.1 thousand jobs last year, which represents 1.8 percent). In the capital, the registered number of employees is 839.8 thousand (when the year-on-year increase of 22.5 thousand corresponds to 2.8 percent) and nationwide by 3989.7 thousand (plus 41.1 thousand or 1.0 percent).
Closer to the actual income of specific people (and the general understanding of the “average”) is the so-called median wage, ie the mean. This quantity reaches CZK 32,979 – differences between men (CZK 35,086) and women (CZK 30,433).
