The Monaco Gaming Show announces its 2021 edition
After a successful edition in 2020, the Monaco Gaming Show is back for a 2021 online edition with no less than € 40,000 in cashprize.
Indeed, the Monaco Esports Federation (MeSF), Monaco Esports and Nicecactus have joined forces for a 100% online event. AND for gamers around the world.
20,000 euros in cash prize
Following the Warm-Up edition of 2020, the Monaco Gaming Fair indeed returns this year. This event will allow players to compete on Fortnite than on Rocket League. Knowing that each of these competitions will offer a cash prize of € 20,000 ! Enough to thrill the rock once again!
Little historical reminder. The Monaco Gaming Show is an event created and developed by the organization Monaco Esports, member of the Monaco Esports Federation. Since 2020, they have partnered with Nicecactus, company specializing in the production of esport competitions. The goal was to “develop an event of international scope that meets the expectations of players and the ambitions of Monaco in the field of gaming and esport”.
Mike M. Hessabi, President of Nicecactus.gg said about it:
Anchored in Monegasque culture, sport occupies an important place in the Principality’s landscape. Esport and social gaming now have their annual event through the Monaco Gaming Show. Nicecactus is proud to organize for the second year this prestigious and international event with our partner Monaco Esports Federation and under the high patronage of the Principality
World capital of eSports?
In any case, this is the ambition of the principality. And what wishes Louis Ducruet, president of the Monaco Esports Federation and member of the princely family. Here is precisely what he said about it:
Through this event, we announced that Monaco is giving itself the means to be a champion in the world of esport. The Monaco Gaming Show will allow us to confirm that we are open-minded and that the principality wants to be a pioneer in this field where other, bigger countries have not yet launched! This shows that we are in the right timing to get involved.
