Toulouse. Murder in Bourbaki: why the killer went after the victim?
A week after the discovery of the body of Philippe, 62, brutally killed in his apartment in Bourbaki, all avenues are explored.
Who was angry with Philippe, 62, to the point of going after him and killing him savagely in his apartment in Bourbaki in the Minimes sector in Toulouse? A week after the discovery of the lifeless body of this man (our previous editions), the enigma remains whole and the territorial direction of the judicial police is investigating discreetly in order to unravel the threads of a murder with no obvious motive.
In this small city with peaceful appearances, a stone’s throw from the Toulouse central police station, Philippe was known. “He had lived there for a very long time with his father,” relates a local resident. And then his father died. He kept the accommodation ”.
The victim did not have a bad reputation in the neighborhood. On the contrary. “He talks to everyone. He did a bit of mechanics to help people, for a small ticket ”.
Philippe benefited from the disabled adult allowance. “He hardly ever went out,” describes an acquaintance. Who could blame him? ” We do not see “.
More than a dozen lame blows, a bullet in the head… the victim’s aggressor (s) left nothing to chance. When the police arrived at his apartment, he was in a mess with furniture overturned. Was there a fight? What do his attackers bring up? The man did not lead a lavish lifestyle.
“On lives together. On dies together “
In the city, where drug trafficking is present but wants to be discreet, the business has not stopped. A few days after the discovery of Philippe’s body, a new tag bloomed. Contrary to the usual “promotions”, this one displays a euphoric Roger Rabbit surrounded by motley colors and a diagram of the district, under the porch of Philippe’s building. It is accompanied by a disconcerting message in the circumstances which mourn the neighborhood: “Welcome Bourbaki”. “On lives together. We die together ”.
However, could Philippe’s death be closely or remotely linked to trafficking? No one is advancing on this hypothesis for the time being. All the tracks remain open.
The victim’s body was found Wednesday after his relatives, worried that they had not heard from him for several days, raised the alert.
The apartment was locked and they could not be found. Enough to further thicken the mystery.
