also in Romagna at the start of the active call of citizens
The increase in population groups and the advance of the third dose to 5 months combined with the possibility of accessing the vaccination without booking, are causing a strong influx of citizens in these hours at the company vaccination points. To avoid slowdowns in vaccination administration and inconvenience to the population, especially to those waiting for the dose already booked, in line with the latest ministerial and regional indications, the Local Health Authority of Romagna initiates the active call of citizens. From tomorrow, Friday 26 November, the Health Authority will send a text message with an appointment for the administration of the third dose of the anti Covid vaccine to the citizens who can now receive it, i.e. those over 40 who have passed the primary vaccination cycle from at least five months (two doses with AstraZeneca, Pfizer, Moderna or single dose with Johnson). Consequently, from Monday 29 November, it will no longer be possible to access the company Vaccination Hubs without booking, with the exception of young people aged 12 to 19 and some professional categories for which dedicated access bands are already provided. How the active call via SMS works The message (sms) already counts data, time and place of booking of the vaccination session and also indicates how to request the change or cancellation of the reservation already set through CUP, CUPtel or by sending a whatsapp message to the indicator number . Citizens are invited to an appointment already fixed only in case of actual need and adequate advance, both to allow the reuse of sessions left free, in compliance with the time interval of 150 days from the completion of the cycle, and to accelerate vaccination coverage . The sms will be invited progressively, starting from those who have completed the primary cycle the longest (and in any case strictly by at least 5 months). In any case, citizens are still able to book through the Cups, Cups and electronic health records. Please note that regardless of the vaccine used for the first cycle, m-RNA vaccines, i.e. Moderna or Pfizer, will always be used for the booster, depending on availability.
