At its public meeting today, the Council of Czech Radio appointed Petr Sznapka to the position of Director of Regional Studies, Czech Radio Region, and Czech Radio Rádio DAB Praha Petr Sznapka, with the effect of 1 January 2022, on the proposal of General Director René Zavoral.
The regional stations of Czech Radio Region and Czech Radio Rádio DAB Praha have so far been managed by Jan Menger, who also holds the position of Director of Regional Broadcasting.

Petr Sznapka graduated from the Faculty of Multimedia Communications at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. He has held senior positions in marketing, communications and advertising for 17 years.
From 2006 to 2008, he was the head of broadcasting at the Czech private radio station Rádio Impuls. He then worked for eight years as the program director of the Czech private radio network Media Marketing Services as, where he was in charge of building the Czech network of rock radio stations Rock rádio and increasing its market share. At the same time, he developed the program and marketing strategy of the stations. Prior to joining Czech Radio, he worked as an independent marketing consultant and executive director in a marketing and consulting agency that focused on advertising and marketing communications for the retail segment.
