Archipel in Toulouse: “We are the first alternative to Jean-Luc Moudenc”
The opposition elected officials from the Archipel division at Toulouse city hall still defend a project based on citizen participation.
Five days after the division of the opposition group Archipel Citoyo at the Toulouse town hall, the group “Alternative municipalist citizen” (formed by the uninscribed Aymeric Deheurles, Jamal El Arch, Caroline Honvault, Maxime Le Texier, Odile Maurin, François Piquemal and of an elected France rebellious Agathe Roby) wanted to regain control, Tuesday, during a press point. “We regret the separation. Some people no longer wanted to work together. But we are convinced that we are carrying the same political project and that we will meet again at the given moment ”, underlined Maxime Le Texier, co-president.
Agathe Roby, co-president, recalled the role played until then by the group, which wants to be a “credible” opposition, by listing its interventions: support for cultural actors, opposition “to the accounting management of schools”, proposal of a ZFE “socially acceptable”, a framework for rents … In a letter to Jean-Luc Moudenc, elected officials are asking for new means to help Odile Maurin in her function. François Piquemal, co-president of the Metropolitan Group, pleaded for the LGV file, for a public debate followed by “a consultation”.
Does the Archipel division conclude the Toulouse municipalist experience? “This political project has never been so topical. It is a movement which is gaining momentum “, retorted Maxime Le Texier for whom the group is” the first alternative to Jean-Luc Moudenc “.
