Lions Club Torre di Mezzo scholarships to two deserving students of the Bandini
Two scholarships worth one thousand euros, 500 euros each, for having obtained the diploma with full marks: they were awarded by the Lions Club Siena Torre di Mezzo – with president Paolo Giuliani – during a conviale held on Thursday evening at the Suvera room of the Accademia dei Rozzi, to Niccolò Vitali and Filippo Pianigiani, two deserving students of the Sallustio Bandini secondary school in Siena. The award, reserved for students in class V of the Interior Design and Sustainable Architecture course of the Cat address, was established by the Club in memory of Pietro De Vita, a surveyor who died prematurely and who had completed his studies at the Sienese institute. The convivial meeting saw the head of the chronicle of La Nazione Siena, Giuseppe Di Blasio, interview the rector of the University, Francesco Frati, who spoke about the university and the city: on the elections in sight for the university, in spring 2022, the rector he said that “the time of a rector in Siena may have come”.
