Seven people had been arrested, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in Toulouse, as part of a judicial police investigation around drug trafficking. Three of them were brought to justice on Friday, with a view to indictment.
19 to 30 years old
Investigators from the judicial police, supported by the Research and Intervention Brigade (BRI), had arrested seven people meeting in drug trafficking, Tuesday, November 16, 2021.
The Toulouse public prosecutor’s office announces, this Friday, November 19, that three of them, aged 19, 20 and 30, were brought before the examining magistrate with a view to their indictment of the facts of acquisition, possession, transport, offer or sale of narcotics.
These are the three main implicated. The others will be called to duty, indicates the prosecution, in the same press release.
An organized network
The network targeted by the investigators was “organized” and “delivers products, mainly cocaine, directly to consumers’ homes, on the Uber model“. The prosecution opened a judicial investigation on September 2, 2021.
“A large customer base of consumers” was supplied thanks to this network: the public prosecutor’s office speaks of about twenty deliveries per day and of no less than 300 consumers regular.
The responsible searches of the homes of the defendants triggered the seizure of small quantities of cocaine, cannabis resin, grass, products used to cut cocaine and a sum of 4,000 euros in cash.
