St. Pöltner Verein Futterbox Österreich is looking for business premises

The association Futterbox Österreich supports pet owners at risk of poverty in order to ensure that the animals are kept and cared for in a manner appropriate to their species. For six years now, the three-week feed dispensing has been taking place in the serving room in St. Pöltner Passauerstraße. Now these issues are about to end.
At the end of the year, the club founded in St. Pölten has to vacate its belongings. The location is owned by ÖBB Immobilien GmbH and the fixed-term rental contract will now expire on December 31, 2021. In the future, ÖBB company apartments are to be built there.
“Almost impossible”
“We are now urgently looking for a new serving place that more or less meets our requirements,” says Roland Brandtner, founding member of the Futterbox association. Since the budget of the “social table for pets” consists largely of donations, the pain threshold for rent is 500 euros. “It is practically impossible for us to find a suitable location because our voluntary-run association has no more budget available,” says Brandtner.
