Rouen. Juline Anquetin-Rault was not voted best teacher in the world (but she is in the top 10)

Initially, there were 8,000 candidates, for the title of best teacher in the world, the World Teachers’ Award. Juline Anquetin Rault had applied, she who teaches history-geography at CFA Simone-Veil at Rouen (Seine-Maritime).
Selected among the 50 best and then the 10 best (out of 8000 applications, once again!), She did not finally win the title, next Wednesday November 10 to Keisha Thrope, a professor from America. Isabelle Huppert opened the envelope and pronounced the name of the winner.

The 36-year-old Normande nonetheless ended up in the top 10 of the prestigious selection… but without the check for a million dollars promised to the winner.
“So many doors open! “
However, the professor was able, with this highlighting due to her successive selections at the following levels in the competition, to present her method through numerous media: “My motto is let them do it. (the students, Editor’s note). I think we have to stop forcing things into the heads of children, adolescents, and even adults. You have to make the student understand that he has time to think, without having the teacher telling him to hurry, that he only has three minutes left, ”she explained to 76 news last October (read his portrait here).

“This is only the start of the road, so many doors are opening,” she tweeted after the awards ceremony, after congratulating the winner. Understand that Juline Anquetin-Rault may not have won the title itself, but we will still hear about her in the years to come!
