Toulouse: reopening of the Jeanne-d’Arc metro station
After almost a week of closure, the Jeanne d’Arc metro station reopens this Friday morning.
Since Saturday, October 30, the Jeanne d’Arc station was closed and was no longer served following a fire on an escalator. On Friday, November 5, travelers can once again take the Jeanne d’Arc metro station located on line B.

The escalator at the origin of the incident will be temporarily available, the fixed stairs and elevators remain available to travelers to continue their journeys. On Saturday, October 30, a fire broke out at the level of the escalator on the station platform. This start of the fire had led to the evacuation of the station and an intervention of the firefighters was necessary. The appraisals and the security work relating to the reception of the public involved the closure of the station for a few days .;

In a press release, Tisséo said “to do everything possible to carry out the work as soon as possible and to regret the inconvenience caused by this event”.
