The couple from Salzburg started a year-long trip around the world
Bernhard and his girlfriend Isabella have finally set off on their world tour. “We are now fulfilling a dream”.
They quit their jobs, closed their apartments, sold the car and started a trip around the world on Thursday at 7 a.m. at Salzburg Airport with two backpacks: the 30-year-old automotive expert Bernhard Ries from Göming and his 29-year-old partner Isabella Rieder from the city of Salzburg flew via Frankfurt to their first destination in Mexico. “We are now fulfilling a dream,” they said. Before that, she had to deal with the daily routines about the meaning of life, the “robots” in her job and decided to quit for a long time. The couple want to travel around the world for at least two years and document their experiences on Instagram. “We are already followed by 1200 people. Many envy us, wish us good luck and say that in times like this we should do the right thing and live our dream,” is how future globetrotters die.
