Florence, meeting with Alia in view of the arrival of electronic bins
the project involves the use of ‘digital’ street containers, which can be opened with the A-pass
The project for the transformation of the service continues waste collection in Florence, with the distribution of the personal A-pass electronic key to the first 5000 users of the Le Cure – Faentina area, where the first 250 bins with electronic access will then be positioned.
To illustrate the new collection system today, Wednesday 3 November, an assembly will take place in the market area in square of the Cure. At the meeting, in presence, to leave from 17.30, will be attended by the technicians of Alia Servizi Ambientali SpA, the Presidents of the Districts involved in this first trance of the new phase of the project, the Councilor for the Environment Cecilia del Re.
In this phase the project foresees the use of road containers “digital”, which opens with theA lift, the personal electronic key that will be delivered to all users registered with Tari, recording every single contribution made.
The sectors of Florence affected by the transformation with road containers (above ground and underground) are 13 and will involve, between now and 2023, about 200,000 users, touching all 5 districts.
