From August 16 to December 10, 2021, SNCF Réseau, manager of the national rail network, is carrying out track modernization work on the Paris-Dijon line, between Lantenay and Plombières-lès-Dijon.
A site visit took place today in the town of Velars-sur-Ouche in the presence of Christophe Marot, Secretary General of the Prefecture of Côte d’Or, Denis Hameau, Regional Councilor Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Nouvelles Mobilités, Céline Vialet , Departmental Councilor for the Côte d’Or, Dominique Martin-Gendre, Deputy Mayor of the city of Dijon and Jérôme Grand, Regional Director SNCF Réseau Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.
This operation represents an investment of 7.3 million euros financed by SNCF Réseau to improve the safety and performance of the network.
DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK
They consist of modernizing the track between Lantenay and Plombières-lès-Dijon and refining 3 switches at Plombières-lès-Dijon station. On this project, 2 kilometers of rails, 3,400 ties and 5,000 tonnes of ballast will be renewed.
This work will take place until December 10, 2021, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This project involves 40 people as well as 20 companies throughout the duration of the work, including Colas Rail and 3 local companies: La Dijonnaise de Voies Ferrées, Sateba, specialized in crossings and based in Châlon-sur-Sâone as well as the company Loxam for the rental of materials.
