Toulouse UC too strong for US Foix
US FOIX 20 – TOULOUSE UC 32
First gallop for the USF
Efficiency was one of the values of Toulouse UC. A great evidence yesterday; as soon as a negotiable balloon presented itself, the Toulousains transformed it into a “test balloon” with great mastery. The “blood and gold” have been little penalized, demonstrating a beautiful collective discipline which will eventually pay off. Their defense was a bit permeable, but this young team can only improve at times.
It did not take long to “languish” for the opening of the scoring. Denjean takes advantage of the visitor dispute and hop, between the bars (3-0). But the Toulouse residents are punishing a local fault. Hudrisier equalizes (3-3). We can clearly feel the liveliness of the visitor attack. The Leon pillar scores as a three-quarter (3-8). Denjean, undoubtedly annoyed, retorts on sanction (6-8). Shortly before the Lemons, the opener Randriambololona found himself in perfect position with his back line which prepared the fault, perforating the Fuxean defense, Le Tallec transformed, the visitors made a small gap at rest (6-15).
The Fuxean public is worried, has a feeling of an unrecoverable score. He’s not wrong. The rear Quesada, extend the masterpiece of his team by scoring a good try that transform Le Tallec (6-22).
Three minutes later, a new efficient descent of the “Tucist” cavalry reduced hope, transforming the fate of the game into defeat, Le Tallec “transforming”, to the chagrin of Fuxéen (6-29). But the USF does not give up so far, that the team is not in a simple opposition. Da Costa punished with a good try, following a well protected maul, grouped, off-center at the last moment to leave the open to the Fuxéens (13-29 with the transformation of Gouzy). L TUC cautious, kicks a penalty at Le Tallec, ensuring the absolute majority (13-32). But there was still a beautiful chosen one to watch. Bastien Denjean concludes a good action from a distance that he transforms himself (20-32).
One thing is clear, the TUC has never panicked, as if it knew that victory would be its own. The thought-out actions hit the mark, it’s a great team.
