The USA issued a threat before traveling to Slovakia
Slovakia, Russia and Belgium have been reclassified within the CDC classification into a group of countries with a “very high” prevalence of the new coronavirus.
The US Disease Control and Prevention Agency (CDC) has announced that it has issued a warning on Monday to travel to Russia and Belgium due to the very unfavorable epidemiological situation in the three European countries. Reuters reported.
Russia, Belgium and Slovakia have been reclassified as “very high” in the CDC classification by spreading the new coronavirus.
The CDC urged all US citizens not to travel to the three countries – and about 80 other countries and territories of the world – at all. If they already need to be protected, you should be fully vaccinated before.
“Given the current situation in Slovakia, even fully vaccinated travelers are at risk of risky infections and the spread of new coronavirus variants,” it is stated in the travel warning concerning the Slovak Republic, which is identical for all countries in this group. West African Burkina Faso was also recently transferred to the highest 4th category.
Among Slovakia’s neighbors, only Austria and Ukraine are currently in the 4th CDC category. Poland and the Czech Republic are so far in the 3rd Hungary with a “high” spread of the virus, where so far have been Slovakia, Austria and Ukraine.
The CDC’s warning continues that Americans coming to the Slovak Republic comply with all epidemiological recommendations and rules of compliance with applicable legislation.
At the same time, the CDC’s general warning for the whole world selects Americans against traveling to a new country, which, according to American experts, is in terms of spreading the risk variant to fully vaccinated people.
