“Napoli is a very strong team, but it’s too early to talk. With 2-3 injuries it can change everything”
Simone Kjaer, defender of Milan, gave an interview to CBS Sport in which he also spoke of the Naples and Serie A in general. The following is highlighted:
“We are hard to beat and we have shown maturity in this, which is a big step. With the signings last summer we have grown and added quality to the team. Of course we are fighting for the title nowbut I also said at the start of the season that I need to improve on second place last year. There is only one place left to reach.
Napoli looks very strong. They are very dynamic and play great football. I think it’s still early to talk because there are so many things that can impact an entire season. There are the virus and injuries: with two or three bad injuries you can lose six or seven crucial games.
A league? I think there are a lot of teams, especially this year, who are on the same level. It’s kind of for the circumstances we talked about earlier, but it’s unbelievable. It keeps you on your toes every game to stay competitive. Small details that can make a difference. It’s exciting for the people on the outside but also for us to be part of such a season. “
