Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week 2021 launches #SHEStem Insta-Reels Challenge for students

Sweden India Nobel Memorial Week 2021 has announced the #SHEStem Insta-Reels Challenge for students, in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM).
The theme of the competition is “Fast forward to 2040. As a STEM leader, how do you make the world a better place?” Grants can be submitted until 15 November. A contribution will be nominated every day for the final. A winner selected from the 15 reels selected will receive a tab. Other selected candidates will receive consolation prizes.
Here are the steps to participate:
- Record a video on Insta-rulle with your answer to the question “Fast-forward to 2040. How do you, as a STEM leader, make the world a better place through STEM?”
- Start the video with the lines – “This is 2040 and I am …” Example 1: This is 2040 and I am exploring Mars to solve the problem of water. Example 2: This is 2040 and I am a marine biologist selected for the Nobel Prize to solve the challenge of global warming …
- Finish the roll with three words (as text) that inspire you and guide your actions. Example 1: Perseverance, Empathy, Action. Example 2: Living my dream.
- Hold the Insta roller for a maximum of 30 seconds. Remember to save the roll as an Instagram post.
- Use hashtags # SHESTEM2021 #SwedenIndiaSambandh #SwedenIndiaforInnovation
- Follow & tag @swedeninindia @aimtoinnovate @ contentpeople.ab in your post.
- Tag at least five of your friends.
The competition is open to the age group 13-17 years. Participants must be enrolled in any school in India.
#SHEStem Insta-Reels Challenge is looking for a solution that is a combination of fantastic imagination and reality as they can be in 2040.
The Insta rolls will be assessed on the basis of three criteria: novelty, clarity of thought and articulation and Sustainability or climate action angle. Entries can be in English or Hindi.
The winners will be announced live at SHE STEM 2021 on December 6 and their Insta reels will be played.
